Terms of Service

1. Platform Use

GetTheGoods is a marketplace platform connecting buyers and sellers. By using this platform you agree to these terms. All transactions — payment, communication, and delivery — must occur through GetTheGoods. Conducting deals outside the platform is strictly prohibited.

2. Seller Obligations

• List only items you own and have the right to sell.
• Honor the listed price. Do not change the price after a buyer initiates checkout.
• Respond to buyer inquiries within 48 hours.
• Do not exchange personal contact information (phone, email, address) with buyers outside of the platform's approved channels.
• Do not negotiate or complete transactions off-platform to avoid commission fees. Violation may result in account suspension.
• Provide accurate item descriptions, photos, and condition disclosures.
• Platform commission fees apply to all completed sales regardless of how payment is received.

3. Buyer Obligations

• Complete payment through the platform's approved payment channels only.
• Show up for approved visit appointments, or cancel with adequate notice.
• Do not solicit sellers to complete transactions off-platform.
• Provide accurate contact and payment information.

4. Commission & Fees

Sellers pay a commission on each sale based on their membership plan. A minimum fee of $1.00 applies per order regardless of sale price. Subscription fees are charged monthly or annually depending on the plan selected. Fees are non-refundable once a sale is completed.

5. Visit Requests

Buyers may request an in-person visit to inspect items. Seller addresses are only shared after the seller explicitly approves the visit request through the platform. Sellers are not required to approve any visit. Approved visits do not obligate either party to complete a sale.

6. Account Termination

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms, conduct off-platform transactions, provide fraudulent information, or engage in abusive behavior toward other users.
